Dr. Tae J. Oh is the Founder and Director of The Bridge International Hub. Having lived in the United States for nearly 30 years as a Korean American, she deeply understands the challenges and emotional struggles that first-generation immigrants, multicultural families, and their second-generation children face as they navigate relationships and adaptation within different cultural contexts.

After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from George Mason University, Dr. Oh volunteered for over a decade at a non-profit organization dedicated to family restoration, where she was inspired to pursue a career in counseling. She later earned a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Washington University of Virginia and a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Daybreak University in California.

With over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Oh integrates various therapeutic approaches to help clients build healthier and more meaningful relationships. She has also contributed to community mental health through her work as a columnist for The Korea Daily, as a seminar facilitator in public schools, and as a program developer and trainer for non-profit organizations.

After relocating to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, she founded The Bridge International Hub to support locals, expatriates, and Korean immigrants from diverse cultural backgrounds who face emotional and relational challenges.

Dr. Oh is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Board-Approved Supervisor in the State of Maryland, a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist (CIRT), and a Safe Conversations® Facilitator.

She specializes in helping people recognize and transform the underlying patterns that hinder fulfilling relationships. Her clinical focus includes relationship issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, and spiritual struggles. She provides an integrative and compassionate approach that supports holistic healing and growth tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Guided by her belief that “Change is possible,” Dr. Oh walks alongside her clients with warmth and dedication. She believes that the success of therapy begins with trust and connection between therapist and client, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their stories, overcome life’s obstacles, and move toward their goals.

Beyond her professional work, Dr. Oh finds deep rest and inspiration in the colors and light of the sky, the sound of flowing water, and the gentle breeze during walks. Through daily stretching exercises, she maintains balance in body and mind and cherishes these brief moments of self-care, which serve as a source of warmth and vitality in her work as a counselor. Above all, her faith provides unwavering strength and peace, guiding her to accompany others’ journeys with compassion, hope, and humility.
